❄ Photo Roundup Two ❄

Welcome back to my blog! We are still iced in as my home state of Maryland gets the snow storm that I can only wish we would have gotten . Although, Rico & I have ventured out a few times this weekend simply to maintain our sanity. haha! We are very much adventurous people who enjoy hanging out on the town just as much as having a day indoors loving every inch of our home. It just so happens that on the weekend we are iced in, we wish to be the former. So, I wanted to share some more photos with you from the past couple of days! As I write this, I am desperately hoping that my jury summons for tomorrow will be cancelled so that I will not have to drive in this mess...as Rico has pretty much been taking me & us everywhere we want or need to go.

Onto the photos...

While we were iced in, the postman made a special delivery. I decided to order the Beats Wireless in Silver to help me with editing my YouTube videos. I used to own a pair before but I sold them when I was in the midst of purging of the things I didn't use as often as I thought I should. However [as of late] I had been using Rico's Beats by Dre to edit my videos and listen to music. Therefore, I decided to treat myself to an early Christmas gift and I could not be happier. They are just what I wanted and I love the fact that they can be used wirelessly using Bluetooth.

Enjoying a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows last night. Being iced in has been reason enough to enjoy lots of tea and hot chocolate. Although the straw is not pictured here, I typically will drink through a draw to prevent my teeth from staining.

I gave myself a facial earlier this morning and used my Michael Todd true organics Pumpkin mask. You can check out the mask here and read about all the amazing benefits it has for your skin.

I felt very fresh faced after my light facial and my mask. Shortly after this, babe & I decided we would head out to get some TexMex food because I was craving some machos like crazy! I have been lounging around the house in my LSU sweatshirt from Victoria's Secret. It is super comfy and has also been keeping me warm.

I decided to give my Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge a go today. I used it to blend my foundation (Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk in Shade #9) and concealer (NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Caramel). I am really interested to see if this one returns to the original shape after it has completely dried. I am hopeful that it will and I can provide a better review of it in a future video. Texture wise, it is a very strong dupe for the beautyblender sponge. And I am glad that I purchased three of them to have backups for my beautyblender sponges. At $6.99, you just can't beat that price.

My goal in applying my makeup today was to be 'natural glam' because I wanted to wear my YSL Glossy Stain in #9 Rouge Laque (here). I live for a red lip! This is no surprise. My ideal face is exactly what I wore today...natural makeup with a pop of color on the lips. I have so many red lippies that I absolutely love and this is one of them.

Passenger seat riding with babe to Mi Cocina to grab some lunch. All bundled up in my Target scarf and my J. Crew Majesty Pea Coat that I picked up last season. The Majesty pea coat is still available, just not in the color that I have pictured here.

I gave my Betsey Johnson knee-high riding boots a spin today! Upon second thought, I probably should not have worn them with the ice still out. However, it ended up not being an issue...as Mi Cocina not only have parking spaces cleared for customers but they also had a clear walkway to the door. Many people inquired about these boots when I used to have my Instagram. The only place I have been able to find them is here.

Here is the blush I wore today! It is a Limited Edition blush by NARS Cosmetics in Coeur Battant (a highly pigmented magenta). You literally only need the smallest amount of this color or you will look like a circus clown. I am wearing this color in all the photos I have makeup on included in this blog post.

I got really sleepy earlier and decided to take a nap. At first I thought I would fall asleep in my makeup, but that is a huge no-no. I ended up taking all of my makeup off shortly after taking this photo. I removed my makeup with my M·A·C wipes. I recently ran out of my Pacifica Purify Coconut Water Cleansing Wipes (here), which I would have preferred to use. I need to stop by Target and pick a few more packs up. Maybe once the ice melts away! lol! The striped sweater that I am wearing in this photo is from Target as well, which can be found here

Typical selfies. No better explanation. I simply take pleasure in taking photos on my iPhone and editing them. It is something I enjoy doing! I do not always share them but some of them make the cut. I have over 30,000+ photos on my iPhoto library. That's CRAY, right?

My favorite nachos of all time from Mi Cocina.

If you are iced or snowed in, what have you been up to?
