NYX Butter Gloss in Red Velvet (here

This gloss literally feels like butter, as cliche as that may sounds. It is extremely pigmented and moisturizing. The wear time is great. However, it did rub off after a few bites of popcorn at the movies earlier. No complaints at all with this product other than I should have purchased more colors.

Ever since I discovered this foundation, my foundation routine has been forever changed. This foundation evens out my skin tone so beautifully while still looking like my own skin. The coverage is medium to full depending on your preference. I have a few blemishes that I am able to fully cover using this foundation without using additional concealer. It can be applied with your hands but I prefer to apply it to clean skin and then blend it with a flat top foundation brush. My favorite brush to use in blending this foundation is the Bdellium Tools 957 brush. This foundation continues to 'wow' me each day that I wear it. Other than my MUFE HD foundation, this has been my favorite. My Giorgio Armani foundation is still a holy grail for me...I am just giving it a break for the moment as it tends to melt off my skin completely when the weather gets warmer.

I have been using this concealer under my eyes to brighten and lighten! However, the only way that it doesn't crease on me is if I set it with the Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder using a makeup sponge. I really don't find that I have under eye darkness but I still find myself reaching for this concealer more often that I used to.

HONEY...this foundation is all I thought it would be and more. I wore it to the Retirement Gala that we attended last weekend. Not only did it wear beautifully, but it photographs like a dream. The wear time on me was wonderful because I have been priming my face lately with the next beauty favorite!

Not only have I been using this to set my under eye concealer, but I have been using it to prime my face prior to applying my foundation. This tip can be used with any foundation but I caution using this if you have dry skin as it may only make the dryness more visible. Because my skin is combination oily, this trick has worked wonders. It keeps my oil under control during wear and makes my foundation last longer.

Marc Jacobs Lash Lifter Gel Volume Mascara (here)

This sample [from Sephora] has gotten so much love from me! It gives my little lashes some life. It adds volume and length. I am not really tied to one single mascara but this one has been really good to me lately.

I had never heard of this brand until Nordstrom made the recommendation to me one day when I was shopping on their website. OMG, best contour & face defining brush I have ever tried in my life. It places the color exactly where you want it when contouring your forehead, cheeks, etc. It is absolutely genius. You can not only use it for precise application but it can be used to blend out any harsh lines.

Are there any products I have mentioned that you have tried before? Let me know in the comments!

An honorable mention goes to my Tory Burch scarf used as the background for my current beauty favorites! I have been wearing it non stop...when its not too hot! It is so beautiful! I hate that it is no longer available because I would love to have shared it with all of you! The scarf if available again in Nordstrom's website (here)! Happy shopping! I do not know how long it will be around for.
