New Orleans Pt. 2 | Wedding, French Quarter & Back to Texas

Hello loves! Hope that you were already able to view Part 1 of our trip in the blog post before this one! If you haven't, you can check it out here first.

Here are more pictures from the rest of our trip! Attending an outside wedding in New Orleans, touring the French Quarter with Babe taking in the lovely architecture & design (my favorite!) and then our quick trip back to Texas to enjoy some Tex Mex before hubby starts his new job! On that note, Happy Cinco De Mayo!

The maxi dress I wore to the wedding (pictured below) is currently on sale at Anthropologie, here.

On our second day, we woke up early and I threw on this black & white striped dress from J. Crew. We ended up going to get breakfast, which included some beignets. I could not come to New Orleans again and not get one of my favorite things to eat there. The wedding was scheduled for 5 pm in the evening at the Benachi House & Gardens (a mostly outdoor venue). Since it was a later wedding, hubby & I hung out during the day until it was time to get ready. I did not take many pictures as I thought I did on this day, which I was totally okay with because that means I was enjoying the moment.

It felt like the quickest, most fun-filled trip that we have taken probably since our last weekend trip to Austin. Babe & I had every moment pretty much planned because we knew what we wanted to get done and EAT before it was time to head back to Texas. I can honestly say we were able to cross everything off our list between arriving Friday and leaving on Sunday. Even if there is not another wedding for a while in NO, we definitely had our share of food & fun to last us a while.
