Hey there beautiful girls! Happy Monday! I wanted to share photos with you from last week and this weekend. I realized today that I had not did a photo roundup since June 2nd *covers eyes*. So, here it is!
Last week, Babe headed to Chicago for a work trip. For three days, he went there for training, a presentation and some Central region bonding with his colleagues from Chicago, California, Brazil and so on! He had a blast and brought me back two souvenirs. One was yummy popcorn from Garrett Popcorn Shops and the other was a Starbucks city mug from Chicago. Babe knows that I love collecting the city mugs so it was fun to add another one to my collection. We decided that for his annual trip next year...I will meet him towards the end of the trip to make a vacation out of it. We are hoping its in San Francisco next year so we can take a ride to Sonoma!
Given I work out at least 6 times per week now, sometimes twice per day, my hair sweats out really fast. And rather than put heat on my hair again...I find my hair has been really happy with me deep conditioning it, detangling it and then putting it in a low bun for a few days. I wore my hair like that for 4 days last week and it was nice to give it a break. I am thinking I will be doing my flexi rods soon as another protective style. My hair is growing so much and is very healthy...so I dont want to lose the length that I have gained by damaging my hair. Operation bra strap length is in full effect, if I had not mentioned it already.
On Sunday, I washed and deep conditioned my hair under the dryer with the As I Am Hydration Elation Intensive Conditioner. I straightened my hair shortly thereafter with my CHI Ceramic Flat Iron. I hardly ever straighten my hair now without using the Wigo Straight and Smooth Ceramic Straightening Brush. This makes it so I only have to pass through my hair one time to straighten it! You can also use the brush while blow drying but I prefer to use it while straightening and I chase the brush with my flat iron. Because my hair is fine, I find that it would not be healthy to use it while blow drying since I blow dry using the cool air setting on my blow dryer.
For date night on Friday, I caught the DART to Downtown Dallas again to meet with Hubby. It was a lot hotter this time than it was the Friday before. With that said, my days of catching the DART may be coming to an end until fall comes. We did a lowkey date night this week...caught the trolley together up to Del Frisco's Grille in Uptown. After that, we picked up cupcakes from The Cupcakery before we went home.
* I rediscovered my love for BVLGARI Rose Essentielle Eau de Parfum and remembered how much hubby really loves this perfume on me. I anticipate I will be wearing it a lot more in the future until it is replaced by something else. I have so much perfume...I could wear a different fragrance every week. Its a shame! I really do not need anymore fragrances!
* The Crane Flower candle from Voluspa is everything! After burning the smaller one that Hubby got me down to the very bottom, I picked up another slightly larger one to burn on our main floor in our home.
* Babe & I are revisiting the idea of getting two fur babies to expand our family before we start our journey to have children in a couple years. The idea is that they will be well trained and part of the family prior to the babies arriving. We would like to get a Chocolate Labrador Retriever (which would be Rico's doggy) and a Golden Retriever (which would be my baby).
Anyway, I have to get to work to prepare for a meeting I have at 10 am! I should have another photo roundup posted by Sunday! :)
